You request your session directly with Up North Solutions. After we review availability and eligibility, we create the secure session and send the signer an invitation.
Starting at $25 per electronic notarial act
Up North Solutions is your notary service provider. BlueNotary is the secure technology platform used to conduct your Remote Online Notarization session.
You do not need to create a platform business account to work with us. We create and configure the session after your request is reviewed, and the signer receives the secure invitation by email.
How Remote Online Notarization works
- 1Book with Up North Solutions. Schedule your Remote Online Notary appointment and provide basic information about the document.
- 2Your request is reviewed. Up North Solutions reviews the request and prepares the online notarization session.
- 3Receive your secure invitation. Up North Solutions creates the session and sends the signer a secure invitation.
- 4Complete identity verification. The signer completes the identity authentication requirements provided through the platform.
- 5Meet with your remote notary. Join the live audio-video session with your Up North Solutions Remote Online Notary.
- 6Complete your notarization. Eligible documents are electronically signed and notarized during the session.

Requirements and eligibility
- A device with a working camera and microphone plus a stable internet connection.
- Valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification for every signer.
- Eligibility depends on the document, the receiving organization, the signer’s location, and applicable law. Not every document can be notarized online.
- Please confirm the receiving organization accepts remote online notarization before you submit a request.
- Any customer-paid platform charge is disclosed before checkout.
- Evening RON availability: Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Is this the same as a mobile notary appointment?
No. Remote Online Notary is general notary work completed online by live audio-video session. If you would prefer the notary travel to you in person, use our Mobile Notary service instead.
Can every document be notarized online?
No. Eligibility depends on the document, the receiving organization, the signer’s location, and applicable law. Please confirm the receiving organization accepts remote online notarization before you submit a request.
What do I need for the session?
