Up North Solutions provides professional ink fingerprinting for customers who need fingerprints captured on approved fingerprint cards. We travel to individuals and organizations across Chicago and nearby suburbs, so you do not have to find a facility or take a day off work.

How an appointment works
- 1Book your appointment on our online calendar, or send a group request with the card type, purpose, and location.
- 2We confirm availability, the card, and travel arrangements in writing.
- 3We meet you at your home, office, or organization site.
- 4We capture your prints on the correct card and review it for legibility.
- 5You keep the completed card to submit to your agency, unless other arrangements are confirmed.
Individual appointments
Best for licensing applications, new employment, out-of-state credentials, and personal record requests. Book your appointment on our online calendar, then bring valid government-issued identification and any instructions from the requesting agency.
Group and organization fingerprinting
Employers, schools, agencies, licensing groups, nonprofits, and other organizations can arrange an on-site session so several people are fingerprinted in one visit. Tell us the headcount, card type, and preferred window and we will confirm scheduling.
Up North Solutions is not a government agency and does not decide whether a fingerprint submission is accepted. Card requirements, submission channels, and processing are controlled by the requesting agency.

Fingerprinting questions
What fingerprint card do I need?
The agency, employer, or licensing board requesting your fingerprints specifies the card. Please confirm the exact card type and any submission instructions with them before your appointment so we capture your prints on the correct form.
Do you provide FD-258 cards?
Tell us which card you need when you book your appointment and we will confirm whether we can supply it or whether you should bring the card provided by your agency.
Can you come to my business?
Yes. Ink fingerprinting is a mobile service, so we travel to homes, offices, and organization sites within our confirmed travel zone.
Can you fingerprint multiple employees?
Yes. Use the group request form below and tell us how many people need prints, the card type, and your preferred window so we can schedule an on-site session.
Do you offer Live Scan?
Not at this time. We capture ink fingerprints on physical fingerprint cards. If your agency requires electronic Live Scan submission, let us know and we will tell you whether we can help.
What should I bring?
Bring valid government-issued identification, your fingerprint card or agency instructions if you have them, and any reference numbers the requesting agency gave you.
