Apostille Destination Countries
The country receiving your document decides which certification is required. Hague Apostille Convention members accept an apostille. Everywhere else, your document normally needs consular legalization through that country's embassy or consulate.

Up North Solutions LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal, immigration, tax, or financial advice. We do not select documents or notarial certificates for customers. Government agencies, receiving organizations, lenders, title companies, and other third parties control their own acceptance and processing requirements. Convention membership and consular requirements change over time; we verify the current requirements for your destination during document review.
Destination country questions
What is the difference between an apostille and legalization?
An apostille is a single certificate accepted by countries in the Hague Apostille Convention. Countries outside the convention require consular legalization, which usually means authentication first and then certification by that country's embassy or consulate.
My country is not on either list. What now?
Submit the request anyway and select the closest match or the not-listed option. We confirm the current requirements for your destination during review before quoting.
Does the destination country change my price?
It can. Legalization involves additional consular fees, courier steps, and sometimes translation. Those are quoted separately after review.
Do requirements ever change?
Yes. Convention membership and consular rules change over time, and receiving organisations can impose extra conditions. We verify requirements at the time your order is reviewed.
